There are times when Hashem lets us see His kindness clearly, and there are times when all we have is "וֶאֱמוּנָתְךָ בַּלֵּילוֹת", the faith to trust Him even when we don't feel His presence.
The moments of "לְהַגִּיד בַּבֹּקֶר חַסְדֶּךָ" remind us that He has been with us all along, giving us the strength to say "וּבַלַּיְלָה שִׁירוֹ עִמִּי" even when the Night comes.
